Using EBSCO Publication Finder

EBSCO Publication Finder provides a comprehensive list of journals and other available resources. It allows users to view the Library's electronic journal holdings and determine which databases carry journals or resources of interest.

 

 

How to access Publication Finder:

1.       Go to https://www.uwa.edu/library

2.       Look for “Individual Journal titles” on the right menu

3.       Select “Publication Finder”

4.       Type journal title or subject in to search, find your journal on the list

5.       Click the + to see a list of databases that carry the title and the years of coverage, or use the "Search within publication" box to search within the journal.

6.       Select one that covers the date the you are looking for

7.       You will see a page dedicated to the journal you are looking for which should have:

·         A search box to search within that journal (just like a regular search, just focused on the specific journal)

·         A list of years which can be expanded to show issues published each year

8.       Select the appropriate year

9.       Select the appropriate issue

10.   You will see a list of articles for the issue

11.   Select the article you are looking for (PDF version whenever possible)

12.   You’ll want to be on the lookout for a tool bar inside the window of a PDF document, use it print or save.
